We were blessed to stay at our Worldmark resort in Bass Lake California last week. We brought along Jeremy’s friend Chase to stay with us. It worked out great. We swam, skiied, use our new water toy. One day we went to Yosemite all day. It was so beautiful. There’s nothing like getting back to nature to have your spirit refreshed. God is amazing! I couldn’t get enough of the water and the beautiful green trees outlining the lake. I want to go back every year!

Steve and I attended our first ever homeschooling convention at the Long Beach Convention Center this wknd. I was so glad Steve took off work and attended the workshops with me. We enjoyed the great speakers who talked and encouraged us on the values of a Godly education that we can instill in our children. God’s presence was evident as they talked about raising a Godly generation. I got a lot of ideas and felt the Lord leading me exactly to the right booths and the right people to talk to. He is so faithful!! Homeschooling here we come!!!

Fourth of July wknd……. wouldn’t be complete without a trip to the beach. Today we rented paddleboards from Kites Etc. who came down and met us at Alamitos Bay. We had so much fun! We toured the Naples canals twice. The second time we were all on the same board while Steve paddled. When we came to Ravenna St. Jeremy and I jumped out and bought snacks at the store and came back to eat them on the board while Steve continued our tour. It was way fun! Definitely a must do again!
